Most Frequently Treated

Depression

“I’m getting through the day, but I don’t feel like myself anymore.”

Depression doesn’t always feel like sadness. You may feel emotionally numb, lose interest in things you once enjoyed, feel exhausted regardless of adequate sleep, or struggle with motivation and concentration. Changes in appetite, quiet guilt, feelings of worthlessness, or intrusive thoughts can creep in, even when you don’t want them.

Because tomorrow needs you.

How we can help: Medication can help lift the heaviness, restore emotional range, and improve energy, sleep, and focus. Treatment is individualized and adjusted over time based on how symptoms evolve.

Anxiety & Panic Disorders

“I can’t turn my brain off. I’m always waiting for something to go wrong.”

You may feel tense, on edge, stuck in constant worry, or frequently imagining the worst-case scenario. Anxiety can show up in social situations or certain environments. Panic attacks are sudden and intense — shortness of breath, chest tightness, dizziness, a feeling of losing control, or as if you’re experiencing a medical emergency.

Because peace shouldn’t feel impossible.

How we can help: Medication can calm the nervous system, reduce baseline anxiety, and lessen the intensity and frequency of panic attacks so your body can finally stand down.

Adult ADHD

“It feels like I have 100 tabs open in my brain, and I can’t focus on any of them.”

Adult ADHD affects more than attention. It can look like procrastination, forgetfulness, difficulty finishing tasks, impulsivity, impatience, interrupting others, missing important dates, and struggling socially or professionally despite effort and intelligence.

* Additional requirements apply for ADHD evaluations and stimulant medications. Please see our FAQ for details.

Because focus shouldn’t feel out of reach.

How we can help: Medication can improve focus, consistency, and emotional regulation. Patients are encouraged to review our FAQ for important information about stimulant prescriptions.

Sleep & Trauma

Sleep Disorders

“I dread nighttime. I stare at the ceiling while the world sleeps.”

Sleep problems can take many forms. You may struggle to fall asleep due to racing thoughts or fear of not sleeping, wake frequently during the night, or sleep excessively yet never feel rested. Over time, poor sleep can leave you sluggish, irritable, unable to concentrate, and more vulnerable to anxiety or depression.

Because rest is essential — not optional.

How we can help: We identify contributing factors and use non-habit-forming options whenever possible to support restorative sleep.

PTSD & Trauma

“I’m safe now, so why does my body still feel like I’m in danger?”

If you’re living with PTSD, you may feel constantly on guard, easily startled, or emotionally numb. You may also suffer disturbing nightmares, flashbacks, or intrusive memories. Even when you know you’re safe, your body may still feel like it’s in danger, making sleep, focus, and relationships difficult.

Because you deserve peace today.

How we can help: Medication can reduce hyperarousal, improve sleep, reduce nightmares, and make day-to-day life feel steadier, creating space for healing.

Mood Disorders

Bipolar Disorder I

“I feel unstoppable at times, and then completely empty.”

Bipolar isn’t just mood swings. Bipolar I disorder involves experiencing an episode of mania, which may include hyperactivity despite little sleep, impulsive or risky behavior, racing thoughts, talkativeness with rapid speech, and feeling on top of the world or extremely irritable — typically followed by debilitating depressive episodes.

Because stability is possible.

How we can help: Mood-stabilizing medications are used to prevent extremes and support long-term stability, with careful monitoring and adjustment over time.

Bipolar Disorder II

“I spend most of my life low, with brief periods where I feel ‘almost normal’ or driven.”

Bipolar II is often dominated by depression, with occasional periods of increased energy, activity, or reduced need for sleep that don’t rise to full mania. Because these hypomanic periods can be subtle, many people are misdiagnosed with treatment-resistant depression and find that standard antidepressants don’t help — or make things worse.

Because depression shouldn’t be the price of productivity.

How we can help: Treatment focuses on stabilizing mood and treating depression safely, avoiding medications that can worsen cycling.

Geriatric & Women’s Mental Health

Older Adult Mental Health

“I’ve never been depressed — why now?”

Later-life mental health concerns often emerge during periods of change. You may notice low mood, anxiety, irritability, or loss of purpose related to retirement, medical illness, grief, or the physical changes of aging. These symptoms are common, real, and treatable.

Because mental health matters at every age.

How we can help: We tailor treatment carefully, considering medical conditions, other medications, and life context to support emotional well-being and stability.

Women’s Mental Health

“My hormones make me feel out of control.”

Women’s mental health concerns can vary across life stages:

  • Perinatal & Postpartum: intense sadness or depression, feeling disconnected, anxiety, intrusive thoughts (particularly surrounding baby), panic, difficulty bonding, guilt, or emotional distress.
  • PMDD: severe mood symptoms such as depression, anxiety, or mood swings, fatigue, and sleep difficulty — all of which go far beyond typical PMS, causing distress and functional impairment.
  • Perimenopause & Menopause: mood changes, anxiety, brain fog, fatigue, sleep disruption, hot flashes, and mood swings.

Because you deserve care that understands women’s mental health.

How we can help: We treat mood and anxiety symptoms using evidence-based psychiatric medications that improve symptoms caused by extreme hormonal shifts, often coordinating with OB-GYN care and offering perinatal-specific resources when needed.

OCD & Psychotic Disorders

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

“I have to check it again. If I don’t, something bad will happen.”

OCD isn’t about being neat or organized. You may experience intrusive, unwanted thoughts that feel urgent, frightening, or embarrassing, followed by repetitive behaviors or rituals meant to reduce anxiety. These thoughts don’t reflect who you are, but they can be extremely time-consuming and difficult to resist, interfering with daily life.

Because you deserve a quiet mind.

How we can help: Certain medications can reduce the intensity of obsessive thoughts and compulsive urges, often alongside referrals for specialized therapy when appropriate.

Schizophrenia & Schizoaffective Disorder

“Sometimes it feels like my mind is playing tricks on me.”

These conditions can involve hallucinations (seeing or hearing things that aren’t there), paranoia (e.g., feeling someone is out to get you), disorganized or scattered thinking, or mood symptoms.

** We do not provide emergency care or treat acute psychosis. If you are experiencing distressing or unsafe thoughts, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Because clarity and connection matter.

How we can help: Antipsychotic medications can quiet symptoms and support clearer thinking and emotional stability, with careful monitoring to minimize side effects.

General Mental Health & Life Transitions

General Adult Mental Health

“I don’t fit a specific label. I just know I don’t feel right.”

You may feel burned out, irritable, emotionally flat, or “not yourself,” even if you don’t fit neatly into one diagnosis. Many symptoms overlap and evolve over time.

Because you don’t need a perfect label to deserve care.

How we can help: A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation helps clarify what’s going on and guide thoughtful, individualized treatment.

Adjustment Disorder

Because life’s curveballs can be heavy.

Adjustment disorder occurs shortly after a major life change — such as loss, illness, divorce, or job stress — and can include symptoms of depression, anxiety, insomnia, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty coping and regaining balance.

How we can help: Short-term medication support can help stabilize mood, sleep, and anxiety while you adapt and regain your footing.
